The Nevada Supreme Court has been left to make the final decision regarding the fate of fallen sports hero OJ Simpson.
Sentenced to serve 9 to 33 years in relation to a 2008 kidnapping and armed robbery conviction in which he attempted to retrieve items he claims were stolen from him; Simpson has continued to fight the charges. After going through the lower court system, Nevada’s Supreme Court has the option to hear oral arguments, though District Attorney Steve Wolfson has declined to comment at this time.
Now 67, Simpson is not actually eligible for parole until 2017.
