Singer Keyshia Cole, 32, was released from jail on Sept. 19 after being arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman who had spent the night with Keyshia’s rumored boyfriend, Birdman, 45.
Keyshia Cole is having a pretty rough start to her weekend. The singer was arrested on Sept. 18 after showing up to Birdman‘s apartment and allegedly assaulting the woman she found there, more or less confirming the rumors that Keyshia had been seeing the Cash Money Records CEO.

Keyshia arrived at Birdman’s West Hollywood condo at around 5 a.m., reports TMZ, when security allowed the “I Should Have Cheated” singer to enter the premises. It was then that she allegedly spotted another woman in Birdman’s penthouse — considering the woman was there at 5 a.m., we can assume that she and Birdman were probably not, like, playing Uno.

To say that Keyshia is unlucky in love is a bit of an understatement. Her reason for allegedly flying off the handle may stem from the fact that she has alluded in interviews and in her music that estranged husband Daniel Gibson, 28, had cheated on her.
The two began dating in 2009 and married in 2011; in between they had a child, Daniel Jr., who is now 4 years old. Their wedding weekend was filmed for their reality show Keyshia And Daniel: Family First, but it was just a couple of years later in March 2014 when she announced that she and Daniel had separated after dodging split rumors for months.
The two have not yet divorced, and they continue to amicably co-parent their son.
Given her relationship history, it might be fairly understandable why she may have felt the need to fly off the handle; however, (alleged) violence is never the answer!
