Rios claims Pun and Joe entered into an agreement to split revenue from the Bronx emcee’s catalog. Rios says she has not received any money from Joe since 2005.
Back in 2009, Rios claimed the lack of royalty money owed to her caused her to move her family into a homeless shelter. Joe responded to her statements during an interview with Hot 97.
”She steps to me and says, ‘Joe, we’re broke. We got no money,'” said Joe. “I said, ’Well listen, People are not going to be sorry for you, because you’re Big Pun’s wife forever. I’m gonna get you some money. Now what do you do?’”
The Terror Squad leader accused Rios of brainwashing her kids into believing he was robbing them of their rightful money. Joe also complained that while Rios was asking for funds in Pun’s name, she was also tarnishing the rapper’s legacy by stating publicly the 700-pound entertainer used to physically assault her.
