“Is this what you been waiting for?” Meek Mill was sentenced to jail time after a judge found him in violation of his probation earlier this summer, and that set of unfortunate events couldn’t have come at a more inopportune time. Meek was one of the most popular rappers out at the time, and with three buzzing songs circulating radio airwaves, only one of them being a single of his, it appeared he was poised to make a serious run at being a 4th quarter standout when his sophomore album, Dreams Worth More Than Money–originally slated to be released on September 9th–was released. Needless to say, the jail time foiled any plans Meek, MMG and Atlantic Records had surrounding the 9/9 release, but the silver lining comes in the above photographs, and some tweets from close Meek Mill colleagues.
