According to multiple reports R&B singer Chris Brown is headed to rehab following his latest run-in with the law. Brown was arrested for assaulting a Washington, DC man over the weekend. He was first charged with a felony, but the charge was later reduced to a misdemeanor. The 24-year-old “Fine China” performer entered a rehab facility yesterday in order to “gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point.” There is no word if Brown’s current stint in rehabilitation will affect the release of his upcoming album X. The project is scheduled for release on November 19th. O.J. Simpson is almost a free man. On Wednesday, a Nevada court granted the former NFL star parole on some of his charges stemming from a 2008 kidnapping and armed robbery conviction involving holdup of two sports memorabilia dealers at a Las Vegas hotel room. The Nevada Board of Parole Commissioners ruled in favor of Simpson's parole request, noting his "positive institutional record" and his participating in problems addressing "behavior that led to incarceration." But the good news doesn't mean that O.J. gets to walk out of prison just yet. The OG rapper has been charged with four misdemeanors stemming from the March 20 arrest in Los Angeles. The rapper was sent to jail after the police found meth in the car that that rapper traveled in. The rapper was spared the felony drug possession charge, but, according to TMZ, now looks at a date in court for two counts of DUI, one count of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of Marijuana or an open container while driving.

ATL rapper Custody Mane has been picked up by authorities following an arrest warrant issued for assault this past weekend. Reports Vlad via HipHopDX: According to the Associated Press, Fulton County Jail records indicate that Gucci was in custody as of this morning, March 27. Following the issue of the arrest warrant, a Philadelphia man came forward also accusing Gucci of assault. He claims that after approaching the rapper at a concert, Gucci Mane punched him in the face. At this point it’s unclear whether Gucci Mane turned himself in or was apprehended. Neither Warner Bros. Records nor Gucci’s camp have issued a statement as of yet. You can check out his newest mugshot in the pics above. Gucci is expected to appear in court at 11:00 am EST today.

Photos surfaced today showing Game and Khloe — who’s married to Lamar Odom — hugging it out in L.A.’s Runyon Canyon Park last month … where Game’s been doing a “60 Days of Fitness” program. The rapper has finally been moved out of the Intensive Care Unit at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles after doctors determined his condition has stabilized … TMZ has learned. Sources close to the rapper tell us … Wayne has been moved into a “regular room” at the hospital and no longer needs intense, round-the-clock treatment after a suspected codeine overdose last week. We broke the story … doctors pumped Wayne’s stomach at least 3 times after the rapper began experiencing severe and violent seizures. He had been in the ICU since Wednesday. Now, we’re told the 30-year-old has been walking around the hospital floor on his own — accompanied by a team of bodyguards. We’re told he’s also eating on his own … and could even be discharged from the hospital in the near future.

An Atlanta-area rapper was shot and killed yesterday after tweeting an ominous message on Twitter. The rapper, Yung Teddy, was shot dead less that five hours later, according to published reports. The 23-year-old rapper tweeted “N****as wanna WANNA SEE ME DEAD.” There was also another message that was posted on GlobalGrind. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, he was killed last night around 10:18 pm. The rapper’s real name was Justin Mitchell. Condolences were posted on several of his videos on YouTube.

The controversial internet star known as Kat Stacks was released from a deportation facility in Louisiana today (January 3rd). It was just over a year ago that Judge Jerry Beatmann Sr. told Kat Stacks, born Andrea Herrera, that she was going to be deported to her country of origin, Venezuela, after she was arrested for a felony charges that included carrying a concealed firearm in Broward County and disorderly conduct. Then following an appeals process, Judge Beatmann signed the order to release Kat Stacks from her Louisiana immigration facility. Thousands of people are protesting a new show being launched on Oxygen TV, centered around rapper Shawty Lo and his 10 children. Shawty Lo is starring in “All My Babies’ Mamas,” that centers around the Atlanta rapper’s “modern family” unit. In addition to 10 his children, “All My Babies’ Mamas” stars the 10 mothers of Shawty Lo’s children and his new, 19-year-old girlfriend as well. A petition on Change.org has already reached 3,000 signatures, with outraged replies over the contents of the show. “By pushing these degrading images, your company seeks to profit from the humiliation of girls and women and the blatant stereotyping of African-Americans,” said the petitions creator, Sabrina Lamb. “We think Oxygen and the show’s creators and producers have gone too far and if this show is aired, we will, without hesitation, boycott any and all companies that advertise during this minstrel show,” Lamb wrote. Chicago rapper Chief Keef will start off the new year fighting for his freedom in court tomorrow (January 2). Prosecutors are attempting to put Chief Keef in jail, after he moved from his old residence, without telling his probation officer. The rap star, born Keith Cozart, has moved from a residence with his uncle, into a house in the upscale neighborhood of Northbrook. The sudden move has angered his probation officers and caused alarm for some of the residents of Northbrook, who fear his ties to the Black Gangster Disciples could bring problems to the neighborhood. The rapper, who is on probation for pointing a gun at a police officer, is also facing a court date later in the month for a separate, alleged parole violation. In that case, Chief Keef is accused of holding a gun at a range in New York in a video for Pitchfork Media, in violation of his probation.
