Chris Brown To Enter Rehab After DC Incident

According to multiple reports R&B singer Chris Brown is headed to rehab following his latest run-in with the law. Brown was arrested for assaulting a Washington, DC man over the weekend. He was first charged with a felony, but the charge was later reduced to a misdemeanor. The 24-year-old “Fine China” performer entered a rehab facility yesterday in order to “gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point.” There is no word if Brown’s current stint in rehabilitation will affect the release of his upcoming album X. The project is scheduled for release on November 19th. [ALSO READ: Chris Brown Announces Release Date For “X” Album] Brown is still facing a 180 day jail sentence for the DC case and possibly four years in prison for probation violation stemming from the 2009 assault on his then girlfriend Rihanna.
