Cam’ron & Jim Jones Attempt to Revive Jay Z Beef in 2015 With “Victory” Freestyle

After Funk Flex’s longwinded diatribe the other night, Cam’ron & Jim Jones dropped a (somewhat disappointing) Jay Z diss. Hot 97 legend and “king of digital space” Funk Flex went on a longwinded bomb-laden diatribe on air the other night, dissing Jay Z’s Life & Times website and calling it “trash,” after they purportedly stole his secrets to success during an interview back in the day and used it to launch their own (failed) app. Flex was apparently set off all over again with Life & Times emailed him with the same kind of pitch–asking for an interview regarding his involvement in the upcoming Dipset reunion. Flex took to the airwaves and Instagram to let the world know he was unhappy with Hov, and Cam’ron and Jim Jones, longtime Jay Z adversaries, soon followed suit, dropping the “Victory” freestyle. Cam’ron, keeping it classy as ever, even samples Queen Bey on the diss track. As a Dipset fan, the track is more than a little disappointing. Meanwhile, in keeping with the outlandish nature of what’s probably just a publicity stunt–hey, it’s working, look ma, they made it on all the blogs, without even dropping a dime for PR, now everyone and their mama knows there’s a Dipset reunion tour!–Cam’ron lashed out at a satire website for their lack of credibility. LOLz! Moreover, he apparently thought it was due to Flex’s aforementioned rant, when the article actually appears to have run in 2013. We ain’t mad at ya, get your money, guys, cause you’ll probably never get a response from Jay.
